Based on the research findings, the banking app icon for Krungthai ZERO TAX MAX should visually represent the key features and benefits of the product to attract potential users and communicate the essence of tax-free monthly savings. The icon should convey a sense of financial security, reliability, and growth to resonate with users looking to optimize their savings.
Key Points for the UX/UI Research
1. Visual Representation
The application icon should incorporate elements that symbolize savings, growth, and financial stability. This could include imagery such as coins, a piggy bank, a graph showing growth, or a shield representing security and protection.
2. Color Scheme
Utilize a color palette that conveys trust, professionalism, and financial prosperity. Incorporate shades of blue to evoke a sense of security, trust, and dependability (#07B0EC to #005373 linear gradient), while also infusing colors like green to represent growth and prosperity.
3. Symbolism
Consider incorporating symbols that represent tax exemption, monthly savings, and long-term financial planning. Icons such as a tax exemption symbol, a calendar for monthly savings, or a clock indicating long-term deposits can help convey the key features of the product.
4. Typography
Use clear and legible typography for any text elements within the application icon. Include the product name "Krungthai ZERO TAX MAX" in a professional and easily readable font to ensure clarity and brand recognition.
5. Minimalistic
Keep the design of the application icon clean, simple, and easily recognizable. Avoid cluttered elements and focus on a minimalist approach to enhance visual appeal and stand out on users' devices.

The shades and styles inspired by the Krungthai Bank Book color palette and the account icons within the Krungthai NEXT application were used to design new icons, ensuring they harmonize with the existing Krungthai Bank icons.

Design the icons and have users vote in the first round. There are a total of 8 icons designed to align with the key phrase "Tax-Free Fixed Deposit." The design aims to be consistent with Krungthai Bank's icon style and to be simple and easy to understand.

Design a new icon and select two icons for users to vote on in the second round.
Advantages
- Clear understanding, no confusion.
- The "no tax" symbol indicates that there's absolutely no tax, not just 0%.
- No negative feeling.
Disadvantages
- The prohibition sign is somewhat intrusive.
- Feels negative.
- Resembles a warning sign.
- Too many details.
- Without prior knowledge, it might be confusing, especially with the prohibition sign; requires additional
reading.
- Appears aggressive, like something illegal; seems prohibitive.

- Limited use of colors, maintaining focus.

- Prominent and eye-catching.
- The bold "Tax" is loud and clear, easily visible.

- Not necessarily needing the bird symbol since it's known to be Krungthai Bank's account.

- Upon seeing 0%, might be interpreted differently, e.g., interest.
- Focused solely on tax, making it unclear if it's a deposit account.
- Concerns arise about potential future taxes.
- 0% prompts further thought.
- Misunderstood as 0% interest.
Advantages
- Eye-catching with contrasting colors, doesn't convey negativity.
- Prominent.
- Components interlock in the same direction.
- The word "Tax" is clear and resembles a flag, doesn't feel negative.
- The most aesthetically pleasing.
Disadvantages
- "Tax" isn't clearly visible when displayed on the screen.
- Too many colors.
- Upon seeing 0%, might be interpreted differently, e.g., interest.
- The "Tax" isn't clear, more suitable for a banner than an icon.

Use design B, which received the most votes from users, as the icon for the Krungthai ZERO TAX MAX product.
Icon B features a passbook with "0%" at the bottom right, symbolizing tax-free or 0% tax. It uses blue, Krungthai Bank's primary color, with the passbook color based on the actual passbook color of the bank. The number "0" is in yellow to stand out and contrast with the blue, avoiding the red color which might suggest an error. The word "TAX" is displayed at the top left of the passbook, indicating 0% tax.

Designing icons for the product highlight page to align with the product's key features, starting with:
1. Receive Full Interest
- Icon: Stacked coins inside a passbook.
- Description: Symbolizes interest being credited to the account.
2. Flexible Deposit Period
- Icon: Calendar with a check mark.
- Description: Indicates customizable deposit periods according to the customer's preference.
3. Automatic Account Deduction
- Icon: Document with a check mark and a bell at the bottom right.
- Description: Represents automatic deductions from the account.
4. Auto Renew
- Icon: Phone with a circular arrow.
- Description: Depicts continuous renewal of the account.
